Description

This overengineered light switch is designed to work for a rocker light switch. It comes with a slick circuit board style cover to top off the design. I don't know much about creating AMS profiles… so for now, if you want the buttons to be different colors, you will unfortunately have to print parts separately (I may look into AMS in the future, I don't know).

It can also dually be used as a fidget toy. ;)

I spent an embarrassing amount of time and resources on this one. Could use the support

EXTRA INFO

  • Although they aren't the greatest, I would highly suggest that you look through the assembly guides.
  • Be cautious not to bend the shafts that go inside the buttons for they bend easily
  • The cover is meant to be put on after the light switch cover has been screwed to the wall
  • The only part you need to print with supports on is the cover

Love it!! I just have to say, be careful putting it together. I had one of the main clips that holds the two halves together snap. I decided not to glue. Because the way it’s designed the cover, well, covers everything. It also holds it together! Would print again!!

yeah, I had to alter the main clips a ton and they eventually worked. I guess it’s just not 100% of the time. Glad you enjoyed it :D

It was probably my fault. It had worked itself in crooked. I tried to pull it out but then it snapped. Thanks for Replying! Keep up the good work!!

The connectors failed twice. I wasted a couple hundred grams of filament because I’m unable to separate the items on the plate and I do not have a computer to use at the moment. is there anyway you could reflect the profile to show individual pieces so that I can print just the connectors and pin instead of the entire box?

I could help you with that later today. Appologies for the waste in filament. Could you possibly send a picture of specifically what is going wrong?
