Great job on these! I only had 6mm x 2mm magnets on hand, so I printed at 75% and paused at layer 14. It worked, but they don't stick as well as I'd like – if I slammed the drawer the label might slide down. I probably should have removed the bottom layer or two for less space between magnet and metal. Excellent typeface choice, fast print and useful design. Thank you!

Is there a way to know what the label says from the file name?

I have removed the smaller labels I had bought an added yours to my toolbox. They are much easier to read.

Sorry for the low rating but I just print a plate full of labels without magnets... I see now that there is a comment to add a pause. I would suggest to modify the code to build the pause into the print. If someone doesn't want the magnets, they can just delete the pause or worst case press resume after the printer pauses.

The gcode I uploaded has a pause but when you add a new plate you have to set the pause yourself. It is this way so that users can pick and choose what they want instead of printing every plate and not needing all the labels. The slicer will not allow me to add a pause to a blank plate.

great print, great response for help,MAKE SURE to add the PAUSE AT LAYER 19 if you are adding magnets. I have not had luck with the Amazon brand TRYMAG magnets but will try another 8x3 magnet source. (helps here and other prints if. you let it cool on on the plate before trying to remove. once cooled, I don't need my spatula). I printed 5 test labels and since I forgot to add the pause, found some magnetic tape that has adhesive on one side that I added a little crazy glue on one so I can test the best way for these to hold up in my dusty shop. I LOVE this idea as opposed to a label maker on magnetic tape rolls that is more expensive in the long run. Having a plate of blanks would be great as I keep a sacrificial toolbox at my shop in case of break in to add "expensive sockets" as labels with the biggest locks on my shiniest toolboxes along with embedded security cameras. Can't wait to see the security footage next time there is a break-in and have some of these in reflective filament "tools to keep locked at all times" along with a label on the interior of my cabinet in view of the camera with a label "IDIOT THIEF FOOLED BY A MAKER" LOL

This is awesome. If you're open to requests (and you don't feel comfortable releasing the .STEP files), the following would be amazing: "Driving", "Drilling", "Screws", "Nuts&Bolts", "Plumbing", "Cleaning", "Tools" (pretty flexible when added to others), "Outdoor", "PPE" or "Protection". Thank you!!

Hello! Great design here. Would you be willing to release the CAD files (.STEP files preferably) so others can make edits to them?

I’ll see what I can do. I make these on my iPad so I’m not sure if it will let me export STEP
