(a) Review and Approval
Submitting a Creator Support ticket simply indicates that you have initiated a request. It does not guarantee that MakerWorld will provide you with Creator Support services. MakerWorld will conduct a strict review of your request based on the evidence you provide and the relevant regulations to determine your eligibility for the Creator Support program. This review process takes up to two weeks from the date of submission, and we will notify you of the outcome. During this period, please wait patiently. If you have any questions or wish to inquire about the status of your request, you can contact us through [support@makerworld.com].
(b) Informal Letter
If your request is approved and deemed eligible for Creator Support, MakerWorld will send a copyright notification letter to the relevant third-party 3D model platforms on your behalf indicating that the Model is exclusively licensed to MakerWorld, and requesting they remove it. By submitting your Creator Support request, you authorize to send this notice and request to remove your Exclusive Model from the third-party platform.
NOTE: At this time, MakerWorld is not able to submit a formal DMCA takedown request (or other formal request under applicable law) on your behalf. Submitting a formal request to the third-party platform is usually the most effective way to protect your Infringed Exclusive Model and exercise your rights.
(c) Law Firm Referral
To further help you protect your rights in your Exclusive Model, MakerWorld may introduce you to a law firm with expertise in copyright protection to offer legal services on your behalf. Exclusive Creators are free to decide whether to engage these law firms. MakerWorld provides these introductions purely as a reference and does not interfere in the service provided by the law firm. Any legal relationship established with a law firm is solely between you and the law firm. Exclusive Creators are advised to carefully review the terms of the law firm engagement and fully understand their rights, obligations, and any potential risks. MakerWorld does not assume any legal responsibility for any legal arrangements or outcomes resulting from such engagements. Where possible, MakerWorld may work with referring firms to provide certain services at no cost to you, subject to additional terms and restrictions, and where allowed under applicable law.
